- Don’t insist on proof of identification
- Never ask to see a visa or proof of immigration status
- Do what we can to protect patient information
- Use an interpreter, if needed
- Display posters and have a noticeboard dedicated to reassuring patients that our surgery is a safe space
- Empower our frontline staff with training and an inclusive registration policy
